Senior Morgan Schmidt leads the list of key returners for the Lady Greenbacks. Schmidt was a state qualifier last year, and Coach Thieme reports that Schmidt is hitting the ball well this season as well.
Other returners include junior Lauren Beardsley, sophomore Kayla Baer and sophomore Shelby Richard. Newcomers are freshman Lexie Lanterman and sophomore Bailey Farr.
Goals for the team, according to Thieme, are to continue to improve individually and to bring team scores down and placings up.
The Lady Greenbacks will be sporting new uniforms this season thanks to some generous donations. Coach Thieme is looking forward to the season, saying, “Things are going well so far. We have some of the typical teenage girl stuff, but we will do well as a golf team if we can get everyone thinking positively.
