Chad Alan Fritson, 42, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at his home in Pratt. He was born September 10, 1970 at Kearney, Neb., the son of Bruce Fritson and Diane (Samuelson) Ring.
Chad worked for Pratt County and was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.
He is survived by his mother, Diane and stepfather, Richard Ring of Pratt; father, Bruce Fritson and companion Lorry Freeman of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Jeremey and wife Amy Fritson and children, Evan and Teagan of Overland Park; a sister, Staci and husband Brandon Goetz and children, Holden and Carson of Olathe; a niece, Alex Winingham; stepsister, Stephanie and husband Allen Wiese and children, Chandler, Lauren, Nicole and Cheyene of Pratt; a stepbrother, Spencer Ring of Pratt; and a special friend, Amy Robertson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Winingham.
No visitation as cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Pratt with John Hamm presiding. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt. Friends are encouraged to bring a photo to be placed on Chad's memory board at the church.
Memorials may be made to Pratt High School Class of 1989 in care of the mortuary.
