    Womens soccer downs Garden
    The Pratt Community College women’s soccer team picked up their first win of the season Saturday, knocking off the visiting Garden City Lady Broncbusters 2-0 at the Beaver soccer pitch.
    The Lady Beavers advance to 1-4 on the season. Their next action will be another home match against Northern Oklahoma on Monday at 2:30.
    PCC volleyball splits on road
    The Lady Beaver volleyball team traveled northeast over the weekend to face a pair of non-conference foes. On Friday, PCC bested Highland 3 sets to 1, with two of the sets going to overtime. Scores in the tightly contested match were 25-17; 25-27; 25-21; 27-25.
    On Saturday, the Lady Beavers fell to D2 #14 Kansas City Kansas by a 1-3 count. Scores of the individual sets were 21-25; 25-22; 16-25; 19-25.
    PCC is still 2-0 in the Jayhawk. Their overall record stands at 3-6. On Wednesday night, at 6:30, the Lady Beavers are back inaction at the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena as Cloud County comes calling.
