Charles A. "Chuck" Kreutzer Sr., 58, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at South Wind Hospice Home, Pratt.

He was born Nov. 11, 1954, at Pratt, the son of Richard P. and Opal Johnson Kreutzer. He was an oil rig operator. He belonged to Calvary Baptist Church at Pratt.

On Sept. 9, 1989, he married Ann Jones at Pratt. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Charles Kreutzer Jr., Oberlin, and Curtis Chauncy, McCook, Neb.; three daughters, Melissa Winglesworth, Kansas City, Kan., Tava Helm, Grand Island, Neb., and Tonya Dreher, Hays; a brother, Melvin Gowens, Pratt; two sisters, Kathleen Romine, Isabel, and Sheila Johnson, David City, Neb.; mother, Charlene Gowens, David City; and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor John Kissell officiating. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary. Burial will be in Iuka Cemetery, Iuka. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in care of the mortuary.
