The Pratt Community College Performing Arts Department is pleased to present its third annual Performing Arts Students and Friends Showcase on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2:30 p.m. in Carpenter Auditorium.
The show will feature a variety of students and community members singing, acting and dancing with Jack Ewing hosting the event.
There will be a variety of music from opera to pop to country to contemporary Christian to rap. The show should last about an hour and a half. Donations will be taken at the door.
"We have a variety of fantastic students who will be performing a wide variety of music and some improv," said Misty Beck, theatre instructor. "Several of our major community supporters will also be performing so it should be a great time."
PCC's performing arts department has numerous opportunities for students to get involved through theatre productions, vocal music and instrumental music. There are two vocal music groups for students to participate in, along with the band groups Beaver Jam and the theatre department, all of which perform multiple times throughout the year.
