  • The Pratt High School girls golf team played in their first 18-hole tournament of the year on Thursday, a 7-school affair held at Larned. The Lady Greenbacks finished 5th as a team, posting a team score of 455.

  • The Pratt High School girls golf team played in their first 18-hole tournament of the year on Thursday, a 7-school affair held at Larned. The Lady Greenbacks finished 5th as a team, posting a team score of 455. Host Larned won the meet with a score of 405.
    The bright spot individually again for Pratt was Morgan Schmidt who took 4th with a 94. Also finishing in the top 20 were Kayla Baer (12th 110) and Lauren Beardsley (19th 115). Rounding out the PHS scoring was Shelby Richard who carded a 136, good for 32nd place.
    In JV action, Lexie Lanterman took 2nd place on the 9-hole JV course, shooting a 59.
    The PHS lady linksters will return to action Monday at Cherry Oaks in Cheney with a 1 p.m. tee time.
