Stephanie Diane (Taylor) Crowe passed away in her home in Spokane, Wash., on Sept. 12, 2013. Her accidental death came about due to medications taken to help her sleep and to relieve the pain of a broken wrist combining with alcohol still present in her system from the previous evening.
Following cremation in Spokane, her ashes were scattered at Vedauwoo in southeastern Wyoming.
Stephanie was born to Kathie and Paul Taylor Jr. on Aug. 23, 1987, in Dallas, Texas.
She graduated from Pratt High School in 2005 after moving to town with her mother and stepfather, Brandon Case, from Hays in 2001. She was a currently student at Eastern Washington University. She also attended the University of Wyoming.
Stephanie and Jeff Crowe divorced in June 2013.
Stephanie appreciated art, played the cello, loved animals and enjoyed fishing. She had a love of life, beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. She would do anything to help her friends.
In addition to Stephanie's parents, her sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Justin Gardner, along with numerous family and friends, mourn her loss.
A memorial service of Stephanie's life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1108 Stout Street in Pratt, on Oct. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.
