  • The Pratt Community College volleyball team went 2-2 over the weekend at an Invitational Round-robin hosted by Neosho County in Chanute.

  • The Pratt Community College volleyball team went 2-2 over the weekend at an Invitational Round-robin hosted by Neosho County in Chanute.
    On Friday, the Lady Beavers bested Labette County 25-19; 25-20; 17-25; 26-24. They were then handled by the hosts, the D2 #18 ranked Neosho County Panthers. Scores were 25-11; 25-20; 25-10. In that contest, the home-standing Lady Panthers extended their season winning streak to a school-record 17 games.
    On Saturday, PCC lost to Ft. Scott 25-22; 25-17; 25-7. They THEN evened their mark in the tourney by closing out Oklahoma Baptist 25-19; 25-22; 25-21.
    PCC is now 6-18 (2-8 Jayhawk) heading into the final 2 weeks of the regular season. They travel to Concordia on Tuesday for a rematch with Cloud County, a team they defeated back in mid-September.
