Michael Edward Conner, 58, passed away October 16, 2013 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. Born on Nov. 20, 1954 in
Pratt, he was the son of Ivan and Emily Conner.
A graduate of Pratt High School, he was a veteran of the United States Army.
Prior to being disabled, he worked for Southern Steel and Wire Corporation. His passion in life was music. As an accomplished guitar player, he wrote and recorded his music, and, loved rock and roll oldies.
On Oct. 17, 1981 he married Sandra Gail Grim in Woodward, Okla. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Michael Eugene Conner, Billy Harris and Tommy Harris; one daughter, Annie Northrup; one brother, Kenny Conner (Connie); four sisters, Beverly Rickert, Connie Holt (Ron) Mary Jane Garten and Carol Sue Jones (Paul).
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billy Conner; and a sister, Nellie Faye Jones; brothers-in-law, Leon Garten and Mike Rickert.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, gifts made be made to the Michael Edward Conner Family Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
