Charles Albert Epley, 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 8, 1927 in Pratt, the son of Vern Morlen and Agnes (Baxter) Epley.

Albert served in the Navy during World War II. He worked over 30 years at the concrete plant in Pratt and worked for R.E.A. He loved to hunt, fish and trap.

Survivors include two brothers, Clifford Epley of Pratt and "Bud" Laverne Epley of Hutchinson; a sister Verda Joy Rader of Mullinville and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Epley and Morlen Epley.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, with John Hamm presiding. Burial with military honors will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
