Skyline High School students will present the play, "Annie Play Will Do" at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the school. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students.

This is a play within a play. Due to mis-communication between the principal and drama director, the play has to be put together overnight. With the help of student directors, who are in the midst of a nasty break-up, things go from bad to worse. The drama students work on "Annie Get Your Gun," while the non-drama students, who are roped into acting, are working on "Little Orphan Annie."

The results are a funny production, with Blake Lee and Taylor DeWeese playing the lead roles, with a large supporting cast.

Joyce Depenbusch makes her debut as director, after assisting for several years. Beth Novotny assists and Bob Lee manages lights and sound.

Students and staff have actually worked several weeks and playwright Scott Haan has sent two personal emails, wishing the cast good luck.
