The Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery chain will be hosting its annual Fire Chief promotion, raising money for local fire departments.

The Boston Rock Bottom, 115 Stuart St., will be hosting a tapping of the Fire Chief Ale on Feb. 25 at 5 p.m.

The Fire Chief Ale is described as a “medium-bodied, auburn colored ale that gets its sweet side from the caramel and crystal malts.”

Along with the beer, Rock Bottom will be serving a limited-time menu that includes 3-Alarm Brisket Chili, Campfire Shrimp and the Jalapeno BBQ Brisket Stack.

A portion of all sales will be donated to local fire departments and related charities.

The fundraiser continues through March 30.
