    Will now face Canada in the semifinals.

    Canada's Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse took gold in women's bobsledding, edging out the U.S. team of Elana Meyers and Lauryn Williams. This is the second Olympics in a row that the Canadian team has won gold.

    IOC: Ukraine athletes not banned from wearing black armbands
    The International Olympic Committee said on Thursday that Ukrainian athletes had not been banned from wearing armbands at the Sochi Olympics in protest at the authorities' deadly use of force against the protests in Kiev.
