  • Pratt teen injured in one-vehicle rollover

  • A Pratt teen was injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident four miles north of Pratt Monday night.

  • A Pratt teen suffered minor injuries following a one-vehicle rollover accident Monday night, April 14, four miles north of Pratt.
    The accident occurred when an eastbound 1991 Ford Explorer, driven by Gary Duerson, 40 of Pratt, went out of control on NW 40th Street near NW 10th Avenue and rolled in a ditch, said Pratt County Sheriff Vernon Chinn.
    Pratt County EMS transported passenger Erika Kelly, 16 of Pratt, to Pratt Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released.
    Duerson and anther passenger, Dylan Verstraete, 20 of Turon, were not transported.
    The accident was reported at 8:45 p.m. and was called in as a vehicle driving through a wheat field. It is unknown if anyone was wearing a seatbelt, Chinn said.
    Duerson was arrested for DUI, driving while suspended, transporting an open container, no registration, no insurance and driving while a habitual violator. Verstraete was cited for minor in consumption, Chinn said.
