William L. Randolph, 87, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt. He was born April 8, 1927 in Springfield, Mo., the son of Virgil and Lucy (York) Randolph.
William served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He had worked at Woolwines Supply Company, Pioneer Distributors, and was financial administrator with Lesh Motors. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and American Legion of Pratt and past member of Elks Lodge No. 1451 and Kiwanis Club of Pratt.
On Jan. 23, 1952 he married Neva Earlene Thom in Coats. She died Feb. 25, 2008.
Survivors include a son, Gary (Ginger) Randolph, Sulphur, Okla.; a daughter, Rita Randolph, Pratt; two grandchildren, Laura Randolph of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Emily Randolph of Ada, Okla.; nieces and nephews, Judy (Riley) Hall of Springfield, Mo., Sharee (Jim) McMinn of Strafford, Mo., Rick (Georgia) Pursley of Rose Hill, and numerous grand-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Earlene; and three sisters, Virginia Hicks, Janie Jarman and Gloria Pursley.
Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 16th at the First United Methodist Church in Pratt with the Rev. Jan Blasi presiding. Burial with military honors will be in Coats Cemetery, Coats.
