  • The Central Kansas League recently announced the all-league squads for both baseball and softball. The Pratt High School Greenbacks placed members on both groups.
The baseball team had two players named to the First Team: sophomore Jacob Kurz at 2B and junior Dakota Venard at Utility.
Senior Will Fellhoelter got the nod as an honorable mention pitcher; fellow senior Brett Forshee was honorable mention at 1B; and sophomore 3B Hayden Schrag took honorable mention at the hot corner.
Lady Green took 9 spots on the all-CKL roster—not surprising, as the team was 4AII State Champion. Seniors Bailey Gillig, outfielder, and Brittnee Hill, pitcher, were both selected unanimously to the first team.
Others named to the first team were sophomore first-sacker Destani Garten and senior Lauren Rambat at the utility spot.
OF Dakota Jones (senior) and C Savanah Buntemeyer (junior) were tabbed as second team performers.
Sophomore infielders Breann Becker 2B and Kelsey Smith-Potter 3B received honorable mention, as did freshman Brooke Theis who was a designated player.
