February 4, 2017: SOAP #2620: Exodus 37-38; Psalm 19; Acts 11

Scripture: Psalm (NIV) 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. 3 There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. 4 Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

Romans (NIV) 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities"his eternal power and divine nature"have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Observation: Although I do not know the words, every language spoken on earth has words for sun, moon, and stars. No one on earth is unaffected by the sun. The language of the sun is spoken in every language and every location on earth. The Creator is easily seen in His creation.

Application: I should never walk through a day on earth without taking time to appreciate creation and to express my appreciation to the Creator!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, this morning I was privileged to enjoy the beauty of your sunrise. If I had no reason to praise you from within my heart, I have abundant reasons to praise you from what I see around me. I have no excuse for not praising you! Amen
