Everyone is invited to attend the Veteran’s Day program at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the B-29 All Veterans Memorial at the Pratt Industrial Airport.
Activities include American Legion Riders, National Guard presentation of colors, Skyline high school band, Skyline sixth grade music presentation, Sacred Heart music presentation, Recognition of veterans and active military, speakers Maj. Robert Wood, HQ 635 RSG and Master Sgt. Terence Goscha, HQ 635 RSG, Skyline choir musical number, a memorial wreath, 21 gun salute with 1st Battalion 1161 Field Artillery and Taps with Mark Graber.
Following that ceremony, Pratt Community College will host a Veteran’s Day celebration at the PCC in the Benson Education Center commons area until 5 p.m. The event is free and everyone, especially veterans and their families are encouraged to attend for snacks and fellowship.
The American Legion Post 86 will host a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. at 601 E. Third Street and all veterans are invited to attend.
