The bride-elect graduated from Herington High School in 2003 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Emporia State University in May 2007. She is a registered nurse at Salina Regional Health Center in the nursery.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Greensburg High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at Emporia State University in December 2004 and a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology in December 2007. He is a licensed masters level clinical psychologist at Saint Francis Community Services in Salina.
