Richard “Dick” and Phyllis Wehling, Pratt, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 20 at the Pratt Area 4-H Center. Friends are invited to an open house from 7 to 9 p.m., also at the 4-H Center.
Dick Wehling and Phyllis Eckles were married March 20, 1960, at the United Methodist Church in Isabel. Dick retired from farming the family farm at Isabel in 2000. Phyllis retired from the Pratt County treasurer’s office and from being a farm wife for 22 years.
Hosts for the event are their children, Tim, Jamestown, N.D., Randy, Boston, Mass, and Rhonda, Hutchinson, and their granddaughter, Samantha Jo, Hutchinson.
They request no gifts but would be honored if all their friends and family would come celebrate with them. Please come comfortable. Cards may be sent to 416 Grove, Pratt, KS 67124.
