Glenda Ellison of Preston will turn 90 on Aug. 26, 2010. She will be celebrating with family.
She has five children, Jan Van Buskirk, Mike Ellison, David Ellison, Kristi Palone and Cathy Krueger; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Glenda and husband Lloyd were active in the Preston community for many years, with the Preston United Methodist Church, YWCA, Preston Senior Citizens, the food commodity program and the Pratt County Historical Museum.
She is a member of the Pratt Methodist Church.
Raised in the Preston area, she was a homemaker and mother who was known for her large productive garden and chickens. Many neighbors and friends shared the rewards of her hard work.
