Dr. Jennifer Jackson from Pratt Internal Medicine announced Monday morning that she and her family will be relocating.  Her husband, Aaron Jackson, has accepted an administration position at Maize South High School, a 700-student facility just west of Wichita.

The Jacksons moved to Pratt in 2003.  They have three children:  Kyler (13), Lauren (10) and Brett (5).

Dr. Jackson plans to continue her practice until the end of July and will continue to help cover weekend call in Pratt for several months.

Drs. Suiter, Pribil and Cudney as well as ARNP Melissa Rempe and Annette Adelhardt will help to make a smooth transition for Jackson’s patients so that their care won’t be interrupted.

PIMG has been actively recruiting and has several promising physicians looking at the area.

Pratt Regional Medical Center will also assist with the search for  another physician in any way it can, said Kim Stivers, PRMC’s director of community services.

Jackson’s announcement comes just weeks after Dr. Jacob Breeding announced he would be leaving.
