He was born Aug. 26, 1913, in Plainview, Neb., and married Ruth Binning on June 16, 1933. Together they served in several states as pastors of the Friends Church.
Their children are Denis and wife Verlene Rasmussen, Pratt, and the late Wayne Rasmussen and his wife Marguerite, Benton. They have seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
