Over half of the Pratt High School cross country set personal best in Thursday's Central Kansas League meet at Halstead. Both the varsity girls' and boys' teams took third overall with sisters Sian and Halle Helfrich placing first in their races. The Greenbacks had 11 runners place in the top ten.

The middle school also ran their league meet Thursday. Addie Hoeme placed third in the seventh grade girls' one mile with a time of 6:38. Mackenzie Shanline was close behind with a fifth place, 6:44 finish. Carlos Rodriguez led the seventh grade boys' team with a sixth place finish. He finished the one mile course in 6:14.

Pratt only had two girls in the eighth grade girls' two mile. Sian Helfrich won the race, finishing in 13:12. Erin Jackson took fifth with a time of 14:52. The eighth grade boys were led by Hogan Thompson with a 12th place finish.

Halle Helfrich and Cindy Ibarra placed in the top ten in the CKL varsity girls' race. Halle won the meet with a time of 19:40. Cindy took eighth at 21:55. Tony Ibarra and Dylan Pelland brought home medals in the varsity boys' race. Ibarra led the charge, running a 16:58 for sixth place. Pelland took eighth with a time of 17:03.
