The Pratt High School volleyball team couldn't pull themselves out of their slump at the Goddard varsity Invitational Saturday. The Lady Greenbacks only picked up two set wins in their three matches, finishing the day 0-3. They have only won two of their last 11 games.

"We have kind of been in a slump the last couple of game days," said head coach Summer Younie. "Saturday was no different.  We struggled making good decisions with the ball.  We missed a lot of serves, watched some balls drop in that we thought were out, and we weren't aggressive at the net.  A large part of our problem is that we can't see the bigger picture."

In their match against Andover, Pratt gave up the first set 25-16. They won the second set in a 26-24 barn burner but dropped the match with a 25-15 third set. They would follow that up with a three set match against Wichita North.

The Lady Greenbacks opened with a big 25-12 win over the Red Skins. They dropped the next two sets 25-20 and 25-17 for another loss. Cheney gave Pratt their third loss in just two sets, 25-15 and 25-11.

The three losses dropped Pratt's overall record to 17-16. The Lady Greenbacks will play in a triangular in Valley Center today for their final matches before sub-state. Pratt will host sub state this Saturday.
