Lana Lee Wilkey, 63, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. She was born December 2, 1953 in Sterling, Kansas to John Jesse and Pauline Pearl (Metz) Asbury. On August 15, 1971 she married Robert “Bob” Russell Wilkey in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.

Lana graduated from Sterling High School in 1971.  She was a member of High Rollers Investment Club, Bridge Club and Rush 24/7.  She was a Rush Limbaugh Fan and was passionate about being a member of “Trump For President In 2016” and believed in the phrase “Make America Great Again.”  She enjoyed being a mom and a grandma.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Bob, are four children, Jessica (Michael) Wedman of Wichita, Aaron (Melissa) Wilkey of Overland Park, Adam (Jodie) Wilkey of Junction City and Jared Wilkey of Olathe; two brothers, Bill (Ruth Ann) Asbury of Lyons and Kevin (Tammy) Asbury of Edmond, Oklahoma; two sisters, Pam Yeakel of Rock Rapids, Iowa and Pat (Larry) Sullivan of Overland Park; a sister in-law, Jeanne Asbury of Pratt; and nine grandchildren, MacKenzie, Whitney, Zoe, Breely, Baylor, Madelyn, Olivia, Russell and Maddox.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David Asbury and Dennis Asbury; and brother in-law, Lynn Yeakel.

Friends may sign the book Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.  Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at Larrison Mortuary with Sam Brim presiding.
