LUCAS — A Wilson man was transported to a Wichita hospital Tuesday morning after his vehicle rolled in Russell County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Vernon F. Krisher, 51, was driving a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee north on Kansas Highway 232 at approximately 6 a.m. in foggy conditions when he ran a stop sign east of Lucas at the intersection with Kansas Highway 18.
The Jeep entered the north ditch, rolled several times and came to rest on its top. Krishner was transported to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He wearing a safety restraint, according to the KHP.
