Preston, Kansas – Rodney Neil Walker, 62, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born September 15, 1955 in Salina to Floyd R. and Alma Mae (Horst) Walker. In 1980 he married Kathleen (Northrup) Walker.
Rodney graduated from Pratt High School in 1973. He attended Pratt Community College for a year. He lived in Ponca City, Oklahoma for 35 years. He was a member of Grace Tabernacle church in Ponca City. Rodney enjoyed fishing and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Ponca City; sons, David (Lupe) Bohon and Shaun Walker both of Ponca City; daughter, Shelley (Brian) Belair of El Dorado; mother, Alma Walker of Preston; brothers, Mark Walker of Preston and Terry Walker of Blackwell, Oklahoma; and five grandchildren, Seth and Payton Belair and Camila, Jacob and Katie Bohon.
Rodney is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Walker.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends may sign the book Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. There will be a private family service held at a later date.
