A Wichita woman, 37-year-old Cassandra Foster, and a Cunningham teen, 16-year-old Ethan Early, escaped injury following a vehicle rollover accident Dec. 23 in eastern Pratt County.

A Wichita woman, 37-year-old Cassandra Foster, and a Cunningham teen, 16-year-old Ethan Early escaped injury Saturday afternoon following a vehicle rollover accident east of Pratt. The accident occurred when Foster was eastbound in a 2002 Ford Explorer on NE 5th Street near NE 120th Avenue and overcorrected when she went across the middle of the road. The vehicle went into sideways skid and went off the road on the south side, went through the ditch that was full of concrete chunks used to prevent erosion, then went through a cattle fence and came to rest on the driver's side, facing south. None of the cattle in the field were close to the accident and were not injured.

Foster and Early got out of the vehicle and walked to a house for assistance, said Pratt County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan Laney.

Foster and Early were both wearing seat belts and were not injured in the accident. The accident was discovered just after 4 p.m., Dec. 23.
