Two Phoenix women escaped injury following a one-vehicle rollover accident Feb. 14 on U.S. 54 just east of Cairo at East 100th Avenue.
The accident occurred when 25-year-old Natalia Heredia-Solis of Phoenix, Ariz. was westbound in a 2007 Kia Optima and drifted onto the paved shoulder. She over corrected and went into a sideways skid across the highway. The car went into the ditch and rolled over, landing on its roof, said Sheriff Deputy Tate Rosenbaum.
Heredia-Solis and her passenger 45-year-old Luz Torres, also of Phoenix were not injured and refused treatment. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
