Pratt Regional Medical Center purchases special cribs using grant funds from the Miss America Children's Miracle Network Hospital progarm

Pratt Regional Medical Center Nurse Margaret Webb shared a special story with Miss Kansas Krystian Fish and Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen Taylor Clark Friday at N’Cahoots in Pratt.

PRMC’s nursery unit benefited from fundraising efforts of the Miss Kansas organization and recently got a pair of special cribs using grant money from the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Fish, from Wichita, and Clark, from nearby St. John, were in Pratt April 6 at N’Cahoots to raise more money for CMNH by posing for pictures and signing autographs for a

$5 suggested donation. Money collected is for Children’s Miracle Network which has partnered with the Miss America Organization to raise funds and awareness for children’s hospitals in the U.S.

Fish and Taylor were happy to learn of the local benefits from their fundraising efforts. Children’s Miracle Network provides 32 million treatments each year to kids.

Pratt is the home of the annual Miss Kansas and Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen Pageant that is held the first full week in June. The final night of the pageant is June 9 this year when new winners will be crowned.
