Kathleen LuSue Bardot, 59,  passed away Saturday, Sept 15, 2018. She was born July 9, 1959 to Jerry Bardot and Jane Densmore in Augusta. KS. She attended school in Pratt, KS and in the Wichita area. Kathy resided in Halstead, KS with her young granddaughter, Kloe.

She is survived by her mother, Jane Densmore-McLemore (Joe), Pond Creek, OK; her children: Chris Hatch (Jen), Derby, KS, Matt Kruse (Amanda), Derby, KS, Kara Havel (Keith), Wichita, KS; her brother Jeff Bardot of Preston, KS; her sisters Konnie Robinson (Geoff) of Goddard, KS, Karen Konkel (Mike) of Beloit, KS; and her six grandchildren: Maleah, Jaxson, Ryker, Kloe, Emma and Ellie.

She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Bardot and her brother Mark Bardot.

Kathy’s career as an ER, ICU and Surgery Nurse was rewarding.  She was also a Mary Kay consultant. Kathy touched the lives of countless individuals. Her carefree spirit and eccentric personality will be sincerely missed. Kathy had lifelong friendships, made new friends easily, was fiercely independent, was utterly devoted to her children and grandchildren, is cherished by her siblings and those who loved her.

There will be a celebration of life held at Northridge Friends Church, 2655 N Bullinger Street, Wichita, KS, on September 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Following, the celebration will continue at the Halstead American Legion Hall, 201 E 1st st, Halstead, KS, beginning at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made for Kloe at www.gofundme.com/kloe-fundraiser

Kathy will be remembered for her love of dancing anytime there was music and her wonderful wit!
