Pratt Community College Foundation will host a New England Fall Tour from October 19 – 26, 2010. PCC alumni, friends of the college, and members of the community are welcome to join the tour group.
The 8-day adventure includes round-trip airfare to Boston, where the group will spend two days touring historic sites such as Old North Church, Beacon Hill, Harvard, and the U.S.S. Constitution.
From Boston the tour group travels along the New England coast to Bar Harbor Maine, stopping along the way to visit the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory and to shop at L. L.Bean.
For two days travelers will explore the historic and picturesque village of Bar Harbor, with its quaint inns,historic homes, museum, and lobster boats.
From Bar Harbor the tour heads into New Hampshire, where the New England countryside and fall foliage await. Winding from the White Mountains of New Hampshire through the Green Mountains of Vermont, the trip will pass through Norman Rockwell-like villages and encounter magnificent gorges and waterfalls.
On the eighth day, travelers will depart Boston on a return flight to Wichita or other home city.
