An autopsy has been ordered in the death of a Haviland woman who died Thursday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound northwest of Cullison.
Lacey Volavka, 24 of Haviland, was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Gene Cannata after Pratt County Sheriff’s officers and Pratt Emergency Medical Services were called to 120119 West First Street to a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said Pratt County Sheriff Vernon Chinn.
The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case.
