The death of a Pratt woman on Nov. 22 has been determined to be a homicide.
The victim, Alesia Dorris-Graham, 48, was found dead in her residence by police officers at 623 South High following the report of a burglary by a Home Health Care worker at 8:28 a.m. on Saturday.
A preliminary autopsy has determined that cause of death is the result of homicide, said Pratt Police Chief Steve Holmes.
The exact cause of death is not being released but investigators at the scene said the method of attack was extremely aggressive and brutal. It appears this is not a random attack but specifically aimed at the victim, Holmes said.
