Pratt, Kan. -

A rural Mullinville man is under arrest in Reno County on suspicion of second-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife.
Mark Ralstin, 39 of rural Mullinville, was arrested Friday on suspicion of murdering his wife 35-year-old Bobbie Ralstin at their home.
Ralstin was arrested after Reno County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home at Fourth Street and Brownlee for a report of a possible burglary in progress around 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
Ralstin was found near the house, told officers he was from Mullinville and a subsequent check with the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Department revealed the Kiowa County Department was looking for him in relation to a possible homicide in Mullinville, according to a press release from Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson.
Ralstin was booked into Reno County Jail for second-degree murder.
Ralstin is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
