Former Pratt Community College art student Kristen Newland Castleberry will be in residence at the PCC Delmar Riney Art Gallery from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Friday Feb. 5. Castleberry’s work is currently on display in the gallery.
Also on display tonight will be a live rescued barn owl from the Eagle Valley Raptor Center in Cheney. Ken Lockwood, from the center, will bring the owl to raise awareness for the work at the center. Castleberry is donating one of her paintings for an auction to raise money for the center. Several of Castleberry’s paintings feature birds including some raptors.
