Helen Marie Hamilton, age 86, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center. She was born May 3, 1924, in Trousdale to Walter and F. Margaret Hager Ellis. She married Mearle ”Pappy” Hamilton on Aug. 14, 1945 at Larned. He died on April 13, 1983.

She is survived by sons, Darrell and wife Brenda Hamilton of Garden City and Raymond and wife Charlotte Hamilton of Trousdale; daughters Linda and husband Lynn Veatch of Olathe and Janice and husband Thomas Becker of Pratt; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sister, Lila Lee Cubbage.

She worked as a medication aide at Parkview Nursing Home in Macksville. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Trousdale and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Pratt

Funeral service was Monday at Larrison Mortuary, followed by burial in Belpre Cemetery, Belpre.
