Carl Simpson, 96, died June 15, 2009, at Harper Hospital, Harper. He was born March 19, 1913, in rural Centerview. A resident of Harper, he was a retired farmer and stockman.
Survivors include: daughters, Leona Grigsby, Harper, and Judy Parker, Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Haviland Friends Church, Haviland. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Harper. Burial will be in Haviland Cemetery.
