Guy E. Geesling, age 84, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Turon Community Church with the Rev. Steve Gill presiding. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Larrison Funeral Home in Turon.
He was born Jan. 25, 1925, at Turon. The son of Guy Ira and Iva Grace Lenegar Geesling, he was a farmer and rancher in Turon for 63 years. He belonged to the Turon Community Church.
On June 28, 1946, he married Shirley Joanne Hansen in Preston. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Gary and wife Elaine, Turon; two daughters, Patty and husband Scott Sledgister, Hutchinson, and Mary Geesling of Denver and special friend Trudy Youngquist; a brother, Don, Kingman; a sister, Lois Fundburg, Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Warren.
