Violet V Moss, 76, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Wellington.
She was born Jan. 8, 1933, in Yuma County, Colorado. A longtime resident of Barber County, she was an Avon representative for 19 years and managed the Sale Barn Cafe in Medicine Lodge.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Moss of Wellington, and Sandy Smith, Medicine Lodge; three sisters, Marty Evans, Wray and Ruth Houston, both of Wray, Colo., and Crystal Zion, Idalia, Colo.; two brothers, Jake Trembly, Cozad, Neb., and Dewayne Trembly, Cheyenne, Wyo.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Monday at First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, followed by burial in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sun City.
