Ilene Yvonne Beckner Shotwell passed away Aug. 29, 2010, at Lexington Place Nursing Home in Fort Worth, Texas.

Her parents were Martin Ezma “Ed” Beckner and Anna Luella Helin Beckner of Pratt. She married Don Shotwell Sr., April 25, 1963, in Pratt.

She was a homemaker, received her GED, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Fort Worth. She enjoyed working word puzzles, and playing pinochle with her sister and mother when they were alive. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Jolene Beckner and Donna Darlene Beckner Tracy.

Survivors include: her husband of 47 years; daughters, Pamela Jones and husband Jim, Amanda Partin and husband Jason, Rachael Jonasson, and husband Erik and a son Don Jr., all of Fort Worth, Texas. She has seven grandchildren, and two granddogs. Also surviving are a brother-in-law, Bob Tracy, and his children, Tim, Robert, and Angela, all of Hutchinson.

Funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Mount Olivet Funeral Home 2301 N. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fort Worth Alzheimer’s Association.
