Dana M. Young, 57, died June 6, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born Sept. 9, 1951, the daughter of Edward and Jerry Kidd Bond. She worked as a para at Obee School, Hutchinson.
Survivors include: husband Kenny; her father; two sons, Jack and Joey Scharader; two brothers, Robert and Richard Hanson; four sisters, Pattie and Eddi Bond, Theresa Schlenz and Pamela Richards; a stepsister, Linda Shotwell; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside service was held at Ellenwood Cemetery, Sawyer, under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hutchinson.
