Retha G. Harger, 76, died Feb. 2, 2010, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital in Medicine Lodge. She was born May 7, 1933 in Bristow, Okla. A longtime resident of Medicine Lodge, she was a home economics teacher in Oklahoma and was a substitute teacher in Medicine Lodge.
She is survived by three sons, Edwin, Pratt, Gary, Lexington, Okla., and Lyle, Sapulpa, Okla.; a daughter, Donna Cavin, Valley Center; a brother, Merle Greer, Bristow, Okla.; a sister, Lora Cacy, Stillwater, Okla.; nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Willa Wyatt Greer; husband, Noble G. Harger; a son, Terry Harger; two brothers, Vernon and Larry Greer; and a sister, Fern Steinle.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge.
