Kenneth R. Peterson, 63, died June 23, 2009, at Texas City, Texas. He was born July 17, 1945, at Sterling. He grew up in the Ellinwood-Great Bend area and lived most of his life in Texas. He was an agent/stenographer with Rock Island/Cotton Belt/Southern Pacific railroads.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a sister, Delores Wright, and a brother, Mike Peterson, both of Midwest City, Okla.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Foster Mortuary, Inc., Wilson, is in charge of arrangements.
