On May 25 there will be a special election which will allow the city of Pratt to vote on whether we want to see Maple Street expanded. Many people have worked hard to see that you have a vote in this matter, and I would like to encourage all of you to VOTE YES. Pratt has so many positive things going for us, but with this extension the opportunity for continued growth is insured. New housing and business opportunities would be made available, ultimately resulting in an increased tax base which is good for all of us. It also would provide for a less circuitous route to the northeast part of Pratt. Please don’t assume your vote doesn’t count because it does! Get out and vote yes May 25 for the future of Pratt!
