To the editor:
Where is our nation headed when children are “entertained” by shooting guns in school at a Fun Night? I thought we had laws preventing weapons from being brought onto school grounds. Are we training home-grown terrorists?
Boys and girls are fascinated by guns. Children in other places have taken handguns and shotguns to school to “pop off” their teachers and classmates. Don’t you remember Columbine High School in Colorado? Are we training Pratt school children to do the same thing some time in the future? Who is accountable for such “fun”?
Will the Pratt Tribune ever have to run a headline saying “Pratt children shot in school”?
Don’t you think it’s time we got serious about gun control? I do.
