To the editor:
There have been several articles written about repairing for building a new hospital. There have been two people in particular who have been placing articles, Mr. Newby and Mr. Watson. They farm in Pratt County.
If they’re worried about tax dollars, where do they think the money comes from for the government payments that help keep their farms going?
Another thing they don’t think about is what would happen to Pratt’s economy if that hospital wasn’t there, how many jobs and taxpayers it employs.
I admit it’s a lot of money to spend, but you have to keep up with the times. I’ve lived in Pratt for 65 years and raised my family and I’m proud of it.
