Seen on Scene Father's Day Feast

The South Central Kansas Youth For Christ "Father's Day Feast" raised money in a free will offering at a grilled hamburger feed at the Municipal Building on Sunday, June 16. The money helped send children to a week-long summer camp in Colorado.

Fire burns garage

A fire of unknown origin burned the north wall of an unused garage at 623 North Thompson on Wednesday, June 12. Some grass also burned and the heat melted the siding on a garage just across the fence at 413 Maple. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
