Mary Lou Helsel, 88, died April 16, 2014, at Leisure Homestead, St. John.She was born July 10, 1925, at Iuka, the daughter of Mathais and Rosa Loesel Welli. A lifetime Iuka resident, she was a cashier at the Iuka State Bank for many years and was a homemaker.On May 22, 1946, she married Harold Eugene Helsel at Larned. He died Jan. 7, 1998.
